The Little Snake River Community
Church is located in south central Wyoming, in the small town of
Baggs. It is approximately 45 miles north of Craig, Colorado
and 75 miles southwest of Rawlings, Wyoming, in the beautiful Little
Snake River Valley. The church has been serving the valley for over
30 years. The valley's population, including the towns of
Dixon and Savery, Wyoming and Slater, Colorado, is approximately
700. The culture is of western flair. Ranching and
agriculture, along with natural gas exploration and production,
dominate the economy. The Little Snake River Community Church
is served by a full-time pastor who oversees the ministries of a
rural Bible believing, evangelical church. Or regular
activities include: Sunday morning worship and Sunday School for all
ages, "After School Club" for boys and girls in grades 3-5, youth
group for jr. high and high school kids, and Bible studies for
women, young adults and members of the church. We believe that these
activities lead us to Christ and strengthen our daily walk with Him.
The church also reaches into other areas of the community by
performing marriages and funerals, providing spiritual counseling,
and helping with drug and alcohol related addictions. Our
purpose is to "Reach the Valley for Christ." We believe that
the Little Snake River Community Church is a place where
RELATIONSHIPS are formed...and YOU can make a difference!
