We believe in the Scriptures as contained in the Old and New Testaments to be the inspired Word of God and that they are inerrant, their teaching and authority are absolute, supreme and final.  IITimothy 3: 16-17; IIPeter 1: 20-21

We believe in the Trinity eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1: 2-6; Deuteronomy 6: 5; Mathew 28: 19; John 4:24, 10: 30 and IICorinthians 13: 14.

We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to convict men, regenerate the unbelieving sinner, indwell, comfort, instruct and empower the believer for Godly living and service. We believe that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit takes place at the time of conversion. We believe in all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit according to scripture.  John 14: 16,26, 16: 8-11; Acts 4: 31; ICorinthians 3: 16, 12: 12-14.

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam's sin all human beings inherited a sinful nature, and are totally depraved and need of a savior from sin.  Genesis 1: 26-31; Romans 3: 22-23; Ephesians 2: 1-3,   2:12.

We believe in the necessity of the new birth, salvation, is by grace through faith and not of works; saving faith will maintain good works in the life of the believer. John 1:12; Ephesians 1: 7, 2: 8-10; IPeter 1: 18-19.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to everlasting blessedness, the unsaved or lost to everlasing punishment.  Luke 16: 19-26; John 5: 28-29; IICorinthians 5: 8; IThessalonians 4: 16-17; IIThessalonians 1: 7-9; Revelation 20: 11-15.

We believe in the second coming of Christ according to the scripture. The personal, imminent coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for His redeemed ones. IThessalonians 1:10, 4: 13-18, 5: 9-10; Revelation 3: 10, 19: 11-16, 20: 1-6.

We believe that the true or invisible Church began on the day of Pentecost; that each one who receives Jesus Christ as his personal savior from the penalty of sin is a member of that invisible Church, the body of Christ.  ICorinthians 6: 19-20, 12: 12-27.

We believe in Missions, and that it is the obligation of the saved to witness by life and word to the truths of the Holy Scripture and to seek to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to all mankind.  Matthew 28: 19-20; Mark 16: 15; Acts 1: 8-11; IICorinthians 5: 19-20.

Church Ordinances:

This church recognized two ordinances for the body of Christ: Baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper. Neither is essential to receive salvation. Both are means to give public testimony of ones salvation. Both signify union with Christ and fellowship of Christ in the newness of life.  Matthew 28: 19-20; Acts 2: 38-41, 8:36-38, Romans 6: 3-5; ICorinthians 11: 23-26.
